Restrictions

I still can recall some time ago, there was this big hoo-ha over how inflexible Singapore is and that all the restrictions imposed, be it by government or schools, limit one's creativity. Hence, there was this whole notion of the government needs to be more "open" and flexible so that creativity can thrive in Singapore and that talents can perform better.

I thought of something when i was climbing the stairs up to my 6th storey flat.

Do restrictions really limit one's ability to perform? Or do limitations actually show how well one can perform in the given situation, and therefore showing that this person is able to thrive in any environment he's thrown into?

Something for you to ponder. Feel free to respond if you would like to.
