On Gucci and Louis Vuitton

Is it just me or are Gucci wallets, belts and bags (the latest green and red collection which reminds me of Christmas), as well as Louis Vuitton wallets becoming more common? A walk along Orchard Road, or even on a MRT train ride to town, you never fail to see someone carrying or wearing one of the above-mentioned accessories.

Are Singaporeans getting richer, or are the big brands becoming less exclusive?

Or are the wallets and bags they carry imitations of the real deal?

Travel Alone

I'm not sure how many of you share this same preference as me, but I really enjoy the idea of travelling around in solitary.

It's not that I am anti-social. It's just that the time you spend on commuting is like the best opportunity you can have time for yourself. Read a book, play PSP, plug in your iPod ear-pieces, take a short nap, or just simply staring into blank space. It's time that you can truly call your own. Just being alone in the midst of all the urban commotion around you.

I dread the idea of travelling home with friends, because it would mean the sacrifical of your own private time to entertain your friends. You can't possibly start sleeping or listening to your iPod while travelling home with your friend. It's just rude. You just have to talk to them.
